In short, while both cabs can comfortably seat five passengers, the Crew Cab is a bit roomier and can be configured with both RAM bed sizes. 2022 RAM 1500 Crew Cab vs. Quad Cab: Dimensions

If you’re stuck deciding between the 2022 RAM 1500 Crew Cab or Quad Cab, the first thing you should do is consider the dimensions of each. There’s also the bed size to consider–the RAM 1500 Crew Cab can be paired with either the 5’7 or the 6’4 bed, while the Quad Cab can only be paired with the latter. Here are all the details:

RAM 1500 Quad Cab

• Can only be paired with the 6-foot 4-inch bed.
• Seats five and has 117 cubic feet of total passenger space.

RAM 1500 Crew Cab

• Can be paired with either the 5-foot 7-inch bed or the 6-foot 4-inch bed.
• Seats five and has 132 cubic feet of total passenger space.
